Registration Agreement

All members are obliged to read all of the following before registering on this forum.  These rules are active and IN FORCE.

This is a mature, adult Yaoi Role Play community.  If you do not know what yaoi and role playing is, go no further.

Forum Rules and Terms of Service:

1.  Read the Rules:

• By accepting this agreement and registering on or using this forum you agree to uphold and abide by all forum rules.  You further agree to read the full explanation of the rules available on the forum.
• Ignorance is not an excuse for rule breaking.

2.  Be Excellent to Each Other:

• This is the same as saying ‘Be Respectful’ and includes understanding, dignity and maturity (explanation here).
• Non-excellent behaviour will be addressed at the discretion of moderation staff.

3.  No Under 18s:

• This forum contains material that is suitable for over 18s only.  No member may be under the age of 18.  Any member found to be under 18 will be suspended until their 18th birthday. (explanation here)
• Furthermore, no character in a role play or fiction may be under the age of 18.  Members will be warned to edit their posts if they contain minor-aged characters in adult situations.  Continued abuse of this rule will result in a temporary or permanent ban at Staff's discretion. (More on this)

4.  Images & Gallery:

• ALL images used anywhere in this forum, including the Gallery, must be of characters that are over the age of 18 and who APPEAR to be over 18.
• No real life images or photographs of a lewd or adult nature are to be loaded into the gallery – anime/manga/cg/artworks only.  Real life photos are allowed if the image is not provocative in any way.
• Wherever possible, give credit to original artists or state if the source is unknown.  If you spot an unsourced image to which you know the original source, let an admin know.
• In the Gallery, always give the image a name, description and tags
• All these rules extend to signatures and avatars as well
• Any inappropriate images will be deleted and the member warned.

5.  One account per person:

• If it is noticed that you are using multiple accounts, all accounts will be deleted without warning and your IP will be banned.
• Do not delete your account and create a new one in the hopes of circumnavigating this rule.  Deleted account IP's and emails are also blocked from accessing the forum.  For a fresh start or change of username, speak to a member of staff.

6.  Spam is Not Allowed:

• All posts or accounts considered to be spam will be deleted.
• In order to reduce the burden of ghost accounts and decrease the risk of spamming, all new accounts that remain un-activated for more than 30 days will be deleted.  Please remember to check your junk email folder if you don't receive your activation email.
• All users who do not post within the first 100 days of registration may also be deleted without notice.
• You only need to post once ever and your account will remain forever.  We recommend the Introductions section.

7.  Solicitation & Advertising: 

• No items of real value (money, e-currency, goods or services) should be requested or traded on this forum.  Do not ask for funding of any kind, and do not create an account for the purposes of soliciting funds or advertising goods and services.
• You may link to outside websites in your sig after you have posted several times on the forum and you may link to outside websites in your post or message if it is pertinent to the subject being discussed.
• Do not start threads with the intention of advertising anything outside of this forum.  Do not create an account for the sole purpose of putting a link in your sig.
• This will result in the banning and deleting of your account and all your messages.

8.  No Plagiarism. 

• If it's not your own work, don't pretend it is.
• Give credit to the original creators of art, fiction, or quotes where possible/known, especially in the Gallery.  (A fuller explanation here)
• If it is noticed that your post/idea is based on other sources, you will be asked to add a link or credit to the original source

9.  Signatures & Limitations

• Signatures are limited to a maximum of 3 images including videos, SigPic, userbars, etc.
• Only one of these images may be up to 250px in height.  No other image should exceed 50px in height.
• Videos are to be inside spoiler tags at all times and are included in the 3 image max.
• Signatures must be no more than 10 lines long.
• Remember the content of your signature is also covered by rule #4
• If your signature is viewed by a staff member as being too big, you will be required to change it even if it falls within the current limits.

10.  Have fun!

• This forum is a mature, safe environment for RP lovers.  Enjoy it!
• Anyone found not to be having fun will be tickled.

The fine print:

The staff and the owner of this forum reserve the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy applies to member profile information as well

It is not expected of staff to read every post and topic.  In fact this is impossible.  If we see something that is untoward, be assured we will take swift action.  If you spot something that is in contravention of the rules, we encourage you to report it to a member of staff immediately. 

Inflammatory, derogatory or insulting remarks are not allowed.   If you are the victim of abuse/harassment, please notify a Moderator/Admin as soon as possible.  Quote or link the inflammatory text if you can.  If you spot a post that may be considered objectionable, please report it to a moderator for swift action.  Please be grown-up about this – abuse and harassment is not the same as someone who doesn’t want to be your best friend or who doesn’t agree with every word you say.

The owners of this forum also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any other related information collected on this service) in the event of a formal complaint or legal action arising from any situation caused by your use of this forum.

Privacy & Cookies

Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.  Also note that the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.

Rule #2 BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER!

'Be excellent to each other' is the same as saying 'Be Respectful'.  Flamatory, insulting remarks are not allowed.  If you don't like something or someone you are not obliged to state your opinion, merely ignore that person.  If you are the victim of abuse/harassment on this site or by a member from this site, please notify a Moderator/Admin as soon as possible.  Quote or link the inflamatory text where possible.

Please note:  Because many of the posts in this site are FICTIONAL, posts within the Fanfiction or Role Play sections will be NOT considered as the author's own opinion.  We will all assume it is for the sake of the fiction or roleplay.  HOWEVER, any remarks made in discussion or chat threads or out of character comments that are considered non-excellent, may be deleted without notice.  Flaming will result in a temporary suspension.  Persistent flaming will result in a permanent ban.

Furthermore:  Please be mature about this rule.  There is a big difference between Not Being Excellent and someone who just doesn't want to be your best friend or doesn't agree with every word you say. 

We are VERY adamant about this rule.  This forum is meant to be a fun, safe, smexy environment for everyone.  Anyone caught messing with that will be punished.  (And not in the good way).




Rule #3 NO UNDER 18s!!

There is no way for moderators or admin staff to verify the age of any member.  We rely on member's truthfulness during registration.  There is nothing we can do to protect you if you lie about your age.  There is nothing we can do to stop you, either.

Please EVERYONE, exercise caution when exchanging personal information.  Please also be considerate and understand some users may use computers in public environments.  Post NSFW or 18+ warnings in thread titles, and post links, not images, if pictures contain adult content, or use the spoiler feature.  The recipient can then determine for themselves whether to view the content at the time.

In short:  You won't be warned again about mature content.  If it offends you, please don't complain, just leave.

EDIT:  Please note this rule encompases characters in RPs and illustrations of those characters.  No character involved in adult acts is to be under 18 and no character involved in adult acts is to be illustrated with a picture of someone who could be under 18.




Rule #8 PLAGIARISM

This rule extends to cover all media whether online or in print.  It also covers content of this forum - role plays, plot ideas and discussions, fictions, fanfictions and the artist galleries, etc.  Things that you find on this forum are NOT copyrighted, but they ARE the intellectual property of the writers. 

It is the highest form of flattery to be copied, but it is bad manners not to credit your source.  If you have an idea that is based on something else, credit the source.  Always state whether the idea was someone else's even if you do not remember exactly where you saw it before.





Rule #9 SIGNATURE GUIDELINES

Please note: some of the limitations mentioned in the rules will be automatically applied by the forum software whereas others will require your own diligence and will be monitored by staff.

• Maximum number of images = 3:  This includes all images, gifs, jpgs, pngs, videos etc.  Any additional images will not save when changing your signature, they will simply disappear.
• Maximum size of images:  Only one image may be over 50px, up to a maximum of 250px.  Any image exceeding 250px will be automatically scaled down to within this limit.  Any other image used must not exceed 50px.  For frame of reference, avatars on this forum are 100px high, therefore your other images should be half the height of your avatar.
• All videos must always be in spoiler tags, regardless of the size.  Videos are also included in the 3 image limit.  We recommend linking to videos rather than showing them in your signature.
• Line Limit = 10:  The software will not save your signature if it extends over 10 lines of text.  You will be prompted to review the signature you have tried to save and remove lines or line-spacing. The software counts one line for every time you press 'enter' or 'return' on your keyboard.

Please remember that even if you signature falls within these rules, staff members reserve the right to request a change.




A Note on Moderation:

It is not expected of staff to read every post and moderate every topic.  In fact this is impossible.  If we see something that is untoward, be assured we will take swift action.  It is, however, more than likely we will miss something.  Therefore, if you spot something that is in contravention of the rules, please feel free to report the item to a staff member - there is a special 'report' option on each post or PM which, if clicked, will send an email to the administration staff.  The button also gives you the option of commenting on why you are reporting the post.

Be aware - all reporting will remain anonymous - this feature is merely to help staff spot any problems.




The Gallery

In the GALLERY section, you guys can collect together any pictures you've found online or wherever that you think are excellent in one way or another (or just collect pics you think you'd like to use in an RP one day. 

Check out the FAQs linked in the Main Menu by the Rules for guidance on how to get your own gallery for your own original artworks.

When loading items into the Gallery always give them an appropriate title and keyword terms.  This will help others if they ever search for certain pictures.  You get 3 Orgasms (forum currency) for each picture, so don't be lazy when filling in the words! 

Please Note: Anyone with a rank of lower than Undecided Seke (i.e. less than 620 posts) will have to wait for image approval from a moderator/admin before their picture will be seen on the Gallery.
